The software-controlled dosing unit DS4210 produces drops with accurately reproducible volume for measuring contact angle and surface tension. The uniform dosing feed can be set to a very slow speed in order to accurately measure the advancing angle and the receding angle. Tubeless direct dosing and the option of using disposable syringes make the dosing unit suitable for hazardous substances and contaminating liquids.
In addition to the dosing unit, the following components are included in the scope of supply:
- 500 µL glass syringe SY20 with Luer-Lock connector for fitting the needle
- 10 disposable syringes (1 mL) with Luer-Lock connector
- 6 Sets of 5 needles each with different combinations of material and diameter for measuring contact angle or surface tension. The needles are made of steel, PP or PTFE for differently wetting liquids.
