You can use a large variety of filter plates for foaming-up your samples by sparging. All of them have a glass filter, which is embedded in a stainless steel socket that makes inserting the filter into the sample holder very easy. With different defined pore sizes ranging from large to extremely small it is possible to create different bubble sizes depending on the foaming process to be investigated or adapted to the foamability of your sample. The diameter of the filter plate is either 30 mm for the standard-sized measuring columns or 14 mm for columns that are used for small sample volumes. Depending on materials used for embedding the filters, they are appropriate for different kinds of liquid.
