The use of a FL4551 filter paper is particularly recommended for foaming in the case of severely soiling samples. The filters are available in pack sizes of 1000 pieces. The paper is made of chemically pure cellulose, is compatible with our measuring columns with an inner diameter of 40 mm without having to be cut to size and can be used with most liquids. The pore size is 12 to 15 µm, about the same porosity as our FL4534/FL4538 glass filters.
The use of a paper filter requires a filter holder FL4550.
